Heart Transplant Update-Day Eleven

Heart Transplant Update-Day Eleven. Another good day. Even traffic was light, both ways.   I had to wear a mask and gloves while being in out in public areas. We had our first visit back to Cedars-Sinai for Transplant Clinic today, first come, first served. We got right in and my vitals were good. Talked with Dr.Kobashigawa, who is the Director for the Heart Transplant Program and he adjusted some medications. I also met another of the transplant coordinators. I've already worked with four and there are a total of nine. I am so fortunate to be in this program. It's like I won the Lotto!

Heart Transplant Update-Day Ten

Heart Transplant Update-Day Ten. Another good day. We had a visit from a home care nurse today, and vitals were good. Talked with Diabetes Dr. and adjusted some medications. Tomorrow we go back to Cedars-Sinai for our first clinic visit. I have to ride in the backseat so the airbags won't crush into the new incision and bust it open were we to get into an accident. Haircut & beard trim on Sunday, I'm overdue and way ready.

Heart Transplant Update-Day Nine.

Heart Transplant Update-Day Nine.  I'm sleeping in my own bed tonight. God has blessed me with a new heart, and guided my surgeon's hands. I am eternally grateful. I want to say that Diane has been phenomenal through my entire journey. tommybass 2.0 out...
